Madeleine's Dance Recital

Madeleine participated in her first dance recital on May 21st. She did an excellent job! This was her first year of dance. She took classes in ballet and jazz. At the beginning of the year, she was a bit nervous about the whole recital idea. When it was over, she commented on how fun it was. I'm thrilled she enjoyed it and proud of her for overcoming her fears!

Madeleine's jazz class did a routine to the song "Summer Lovin'" from the movie Grease. The girls were dressed as the pink ladies and the two boys as the t-birds. As you can see, she looked beautiful in her blue ballerina costume.

Back to blogging...

OK, so call me crazy, undecided, fickle, whichever word you like the best. I've changed my mind, again! I've decided to keep up with my blog, and try really hard to post regularly; and spend a lot less time on facebook. I haven't decided if I'm going to deactivate my account or leave it. I do message some of my contacts through fb instead of e-mail. Some red flags have come up for me regarding fb, and I have found it to be a time waster. I get on there to look at something, and before I know it 30 minutes or worse, an hour has flown by. I have too much to do in a day to waste it with facebook.

Also, I looked back on my blog and found I really enjoyed the diary of events over the last two years. It's a fun way to document what is happening here and look back over later. Unfortunately, our minds forget so many details, but this I can look back on and remember some of those things that even I have forgotten about over time.
