Happy 1st Birthday, Mackenzie

Yesterday, Mackenzie turned the big 1. As I've gotten older and my children are growing so quickly, I've realized how quickly the time passes. Our lives are truly just a vapor. So, I have made a conscience effort to slow down and enjoy Mackenzie's short time as a baby. She has been a true gift from the Lord. She has a really sweet spirit--very easy going and a real joy to have around. Those of you that have wee ones, truly savor the time--it will be gone in the blink of an eye.

We had a small celebration with friends and family. Of course, Mackenzie had her ceremonial cake eating and clean-up afterwards. Here are a few pictures of the special event.
